World Food Day celebration at PRIST University,  Thanjavur, India
On the eve of world food day, world food day celebration event was organized at School of Agriculture, PRIST University, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, South India in a spectacular manner. PRIST University is actively contributing in the sphere of environment conservation, food loss prevention, disaster management avenues for more than 2 decades by organizing various workshops, seminars and capacity building programme. Dr.K.C.Sivabalan FAO food advocate and Asst.Professor (Agrl.extension), School of Agriculture, PRIST University, Thanjavur welcomed the gathering.  Dr. Ashutos Das, Director, CEE in his presidential address urged for the imperative need for awareness for the ill effects of  junk food and the need for balanced nutrition among the teenagers.
