Agro forestry and Environment Farming is well known as a significant contributor to global greenhouse gas emissions accounting for 24 per cent globally and India alone shares 6 per cent of global gas emissions. The climate smart technologies like crop management and land management have the latent to curtail these green house emissions. World Food Day celebration at PRIST University,  Thanjavur, India
On the eve of world food day, world food day celebration event was organized at School of Agriculture, PRIST University, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, South India in a spectacular manner. PRIST University is actively contributing in the sphere of environment conservation, food loss prevention, disaster management avenues for more than 2 decades by organizing various workshops, seminars and capacity building programme.
